Cars and confusion

So much to tell behind one picture. I have to lose this pride and stubborness of mine. Too prideful to ask for a car. Too stubborn to accept any help. Yet so thankful to have been given one. And not just any-oh-one but one that i needed. Look...it is not what i asked for, i prefer a beemer anyday. But admittedly, it is just what i need. Auto, power-steering, air-con, power windows, remote, central locking, fuel efficient and a decent set of speakers. Most importantly within the budget i thought impossible but became a reality. Coolz! It doesnt allow me to rev the engine though, which on hindsight might be a good thing...

Seriously this number plate is a tad hard to turn black into white: 1 represents my first car so it is 1. ASX - Angelina's Supreme Xenopus. To all non-science ppl - Xenopus is a kind of toad which resembles the ugly squarish body of the car. I like round you know. This car has a square front and a square ass!! Aerodynamically, square is stupid for speed right?! Tsk tsk ....1987 builders of Honda Civics - what were you thinking? Round is the way to go. Round! 123 means the first of 3 cars that i will eventually have/own under one shed. Tada! 1ASX123. Im still not quite used to it ... it probably be at least a week or so before i get the hang of handling ASX.

My housemate's car. Good rev power...orhhh...good stuff. There's potential in this one- just gotta change a LOT of parts and it can still be a power to be reckoned with. I think it resembles the Initial D Tofu car ..hhaahaa. New speakers, air-con, new racing tires, bigger exhaust, power windows, alternator and the car be ready for a great spin! I like the pop-up lights ... so power just flashing lights at people...pop ...flash**....pop...flash**...hehhee... It handles corners well.

We interrupt with a newsflash:
Dick Cheney accidentally fired a shot at a 78 year old lawyer whilst hunting. The good news is the lawyer is alive and recuperating. The bad news is of all people, Cheney had to choose a lawyer to shoot at. He's in some shit alrite!

Australia is not very gung-ho about this new movie by Ang Lee- Brokeback mountain coz of the gay theme, even though Aussie-born actor Heath Ledger is one of the leads in the show. Ang Lee went on to say coz of some nation's (ahem*..Aussie aussie aussie) religious beliefs, lesbians and gays related shows are frowned upon and discouraged. Hence Asia was most accepting and had a more lenient rating (RA, MA15, etc...) than compared to some nations that were thought to be more open-minded and less conservative than the Asians.
And and to prove Lee's point further....
I was going through this SHE (taiwanese pop group) MTV that i got off a neighbour. OMG....i didnt realize SHE, a bunch of sweet girlies, was pro-gay!! There was this MTV where one guy pecked the other on the cheek, held hands and looked into each other's eyes. So basically my point is we live in a confusing world that makes little sense. Conservative yet open? Open-minded yet closed? What the??!! Can you make up your mind??
