HAPpy BirThDAy SiS!
HAppy Birthday!! Today's my eldest sis bdae...yeahsssss!!! woohoo*... i better give her a call....
Recalled this guy that played the guitar and sang for a sesh session 2 weeks ago after church- excellent stuff. The first time i met him at a party i didnt even know he was well known amongst chillout circles in S'pore. Til i was told that is: OMG! Dont you know he's a really good guitarist? "Really?!?" I forgot what style is that called again - he played once with the guitar flat on his lap and plucked the strings like that of a chinese qin. Even the vibrations of the chords look like he's playing a qin. He said it originates from Hawaii. Coolz! He's got a fantastic voice as well. So FAB!Blessed Joni has a good man serenading to her :)
Was so freaking hot and humid today - grumbling to Justin im getting sunburnt just sitting in the library. The uni is so freaking crowded coz this is the first week of uni for them. I cant stand the crowd!!! Ahhhhhhhahhhhhh!!! I loved it when there was but a few people in uni and i could park anywhere and i could get my stuff done quickly coz no one be fighting for printers with me. Thank God my department is set in isolation up in some ulu ulu land. So peaceful to be back in the lab after the crowd squash episode in the library. Talking about the department, a big branch fell off the tree and landed on the benches right out at the front of the door. It was so dark just now, i couldnt see nuts, initially thought they cordoned off the area to resemble a crime scene for a class or something. Heheh..
I just realized i missed out 2 washing steps of ethanol for the experiment - !@# i hope they werent important, i dont know why you need the additional washing steps, what if i do it just once instead of 3 times, will it matter? Do i have to redo it? Not everyone did the wash with ethanol right? Brain is tired .... see the amount of thinking that has to be processed every teeny weeny step of the expt and the follow up that will be required to answer the million and one questions that pop out.
This is research-
breathing and thinking,
eating and thinking,
bathing and thinking,
sleeping and still thinking.
I think my brows are about to furrow downwards like Ichigo Kurosaki. I dont think researchers can ever suffer from Alzheimers. Most probably would die from insanity or hysterics before they can get to that age for Alzheimers. So sleepy in the afternoon coz i woke up early all thanks to a mozzie that bit me on my wrist - Catherine went on about me princess and the pea story ....yah yah mock me if you must incumbent fools, ze princess' restful sleep disrupted by a pesky blood sucker! A couch in the lab be a good idea as suggested by Michelle. I think i need one with the multiple spurts of waiting time required in between expts. Zzzzzz!!
