What a night!

Today was a semi-productive day. Went to 'far away' Cutin for lecture coz the guest speaker was from the Australian Federal Police who was involved in the investigation of the bombings that took place in Indonesia in 2003, 2004, 2005. He talked about DVI for tsunami as well. I learnt a little bit from him - good! I think i can use a bit of the basics in my presentation. Parking was horrendous, took so long to find an empty lot that i was 10mins late for lecture. I think Curtin students prolly owned like a fifth of all cars in WA or something. Having a car show at the carpark is possible i'd tell you - vatever vodel u vant ve hav! VmW? Vorsche? Ve hav! Was bad as i had to sit in front of the LT and i was wearing thongs (not underwear thongs thongs....thongs the flipflops!). Bad impression alright - late and improper footwear. I intended to change into heels but i forgot about them in the backseat in all that rush rush.

Heehee...here comes the non-serious part! I went for the winter fashion parade 06 organised by The West Australian (local newspaper...something like The Straits Times) held at Claremont arcade. Michaela had VIP tix :) how coolz is that!! Oooo..... the bling blings and the socialites crowd. Fun!! There was finger food going round. Michaela was pigging out so much that we or ahem* SHE became infamous ... i'd reckon! This particular waitress going around always stopped to ask her, "Would you like another one?" This is right after she had just taken one and popped it in her mouth mind you!! It was to the stage that we didnt even have to turn around to see what new nibbles were going around, she would stop behind us and announce, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY THE ____??" Haahaa...we replied with resounding unanimous, "Yes! Thank you!" Their gift pack was placed in styrofoam eskies - the good stuff is probably just the estee lauder lip gloss...yeahs...NEW, FREE, GOOD lip gloss. Happiness. I took just half a glass of white as i didnt want to go red and overkill my blush. The clothes were pretty. I really liked 2 sets of clothings but my cam shots were blurry as i didnt know how to adjust my shutter speed. Left my manual back in S'pore...jeepers!!

After, I went for Joy's graduation. It has a year since she's gone back to Malaysia. Caught up with some people i havent spoken to for sometime - the bad thing is that i cant recall their names! Sssshhhhh....i dont think anyone knew i forgot their names. Hahaa. Met this guy called Yishiang. The introduction by John was realliieee comical! YS standing behind me, tapped me on my shoulder. So when i did spin around, John with a cheeky grin, flashed a candid shot with the cam!!! HEY!! What the?!!! After a quick intro by John, he pulled Rachel away (i was talking to Rachel at that time). So i had a chat with YS. He is studying what i initially considered studying. And he said he did consider studying what im studying now! Hey hey ....how's that eh? What a cute bloke! Sheesh**.....all that teasing after from Rachel and Tina. COme on!!
