A narrowed path

See right we have a lot of choices in life. He's a generous God that gives us the right to choose. He advises but our choice is the decider, the final say in things. He told adam and eve that they could eat from any tree except the tree of good and evil. So their choice would have been narrowed if they had decided to obey. Narrowed road : all trees minus the tree of good and evil => no.... they decide to be tempted and eat the bloody fruit and then !@#! etc etc .... please read genesis for a better narrative. My point being - in life it's the same. God advises in the Bible what is good and things we should do and should not do. Basically it is like in chinese he's saying, "wo3 chi1 yan2 bi2 ni3 chi1 mi3 duo1 , listen and your life be less stressed". Coz in the Bible there's stuff from the simple everyday to the more complex relationship advice - we can choose whether to listen (which narrows our path) or to just be like the world (walking on the big path). (Christians to be in the world but not of the world.) Like it says in 1 Cor 10:23 The Believer's Freedom -"Everything is permissible for me - but not everything is beneficial." Because on Jesus' finished work on the cross, our past present future sins are covered by the blood. Does that mean we can sin all we want?? (Craze heretic laughter accompanied by knife stabs on boss' body) Well...the answer is no! There are still consequences to your actions, you'll still be thrown in jail, hanged etc etc. Premarital sex - sure, you're worried about his balls going blue, fine go ahead if that is your choice. But like the Bible said your life be much easier without the gal having to worry about missing her period, worry about torn condom, possible accidents that can lead to abortion, guilt, worry, pain if the guy is not that gal's husband eventually etc shitload... Oh God.... if they are properly married already, then all these worries become non-existent! Imagine worry-free sex!! woohoo! What am i talking about again? ...... narrow road.... yeps. If you are facing a difficult decision in life, look to the word and see what God advice there is. Pay heed. Whatever you decide be your life. Advice can fall on deaf ears. Up to you. Why is the road narrower for christians?? Coz as you carry up the cross, the cross blocks the way of whatever God decides is not beneficial, paving the way for the rest of your journey. A narrowed path.

Sidetrack- it is not eve's fault even though it may seem in the bible that it was eve that was tricked by the serpent and then ate the fruit and gave it to her husband for consumption. Because Adam was there all along, beside eve and yet he stood there silent as the wife talks to the serpent. He stood silent! Instead of talking his wife out of eating the fruit, he ate the fruit along with her. So if i had to take sides, at the root of it all, it is adam's fault. Being fair, they are both going down in this blame game!!
